Blackberry Jam

Super easy, and delicious, blackberry jam! Substitute any berry you can get your hands on.

Yield 600g of jam
Time 10 minutes
Ingredients
600g of blackberries (or any berry)
300g of sugar with pectin
Zest and juice of one lemon
Pinch of salt
Method
Step 1
Add all the ingredients to a heavy bottomed saucepan.
Step 2
Let the mixture continuously simmer for 5 minutes. I also mush the fruit a bit with a potato masher.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to jam jars and let rest for 5 minutes before putting the lids on.
Step 4
Enjoy!
